The Department of Hospital Administration at Santosh Medical College is dedicated to developing skilled professionals capable of eciently managing healthcare institutions, hospital operations, and patient care services. The comprehensive curriculum integrates essential components of healthcare management, hospital planning, quality assurance, financial management, healthcare laws, and organisational leadership. Students receive hands-on exposure through structured internships, real-time departmental rotations, case studies, and industry collaborations that enhance their practical understanding of healthcare systems. With guidance from experienced faculty and access to state-of-the-art infrastructure, learners build strong competencies in administrative detcision-making, problem-solving, communication, and strategic management. 

 

The program prepares graduates to excel in diverse roles across hospital management, healthcare consulting, operations management, public health administration, and health services leadership. By blending academic excellence with practical training, the department equips students for rewarding careers in hospitals, healthcare organisations, government health departments, and the rapidly growing medical tourism industry.

  • Apply knowledge about the social determinants of health, and work collaboratively with leaders to reduce disparities and inequities and to promote population and community health.
  • Provide effective financial management for healthcare organizations.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and behave legally and ethically in a complex regulated manner.

The program builds skilled healthcare administrators through training in hospital operations, quality management, finance, health laws and practical internships, preparing graduates for leadership roles in hospitals and healthcare organisations.

Essential Qualification: Graduates with Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences / Health Sciences / Allied Health Sciences / any other stream* from a UGC recognized University with minimum of 50% of marks (in aggregate) are eligible to apply for the course. *Any other stream Candidate from streams other than health science / medical science / allied health will mandatorily attend two weeks Orientation Program in our University before the commencement of the program.
